I have only have one Autumn tree amongst the native bushland. So it is very special to me.
Now that Winter has officially begun today I decided I owed it to this one tree to show off it's beauty as it prepares to sleep until greeting me again with the buds in Spring.
The view sitting underneath |
I spent quite a bit of time crunching through the leaves as they changed colours and fell into a glorious riot of Autumn tones underneath
Muli coloured leaves,, contrasting with trunk |
The trunk is textural and a delight to the touch
Today |
After all the rain, wind and storms most of the leaves are off and the branches are showing through more and more
A stunning driveway now |
with the leaves
and is a lovely change
from concrete
impression left |
So I will not forget the glorious sight too easily, the leaves that have fallen and been blown elsewhere have left their impressions behind. It is nice to know they were there and I wonder where they are now.
I do know that there will be another set next year, after the seedpods have fallen, to brighten my day, revive my spirit and remind me of the majesty of our
Seasons of Change
Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate it
